iMac crash on startup

Hello community,

first I installed ManyCam on a MacBookPro (Early 2011) with Mac OS High Sierra.
That worked okay but fans are always running.

Today I installed ManyCam on my iMac (Mid 2011) also on Mac OS High Sierra.
ManyCam doesn’t start at all, it crashes immediately, don’t even see a window.

Anyone has made this experience and knows a solution?

Best regards,
Robert

In the meantime I found the reason for crashes at startup. I disconnected my Audio Interface (RME FireFace 400) and was able to start ManyCam.
But now, when I select FireFace as an audio input, ManyCam crashes again immediately.
How can I solve this?

I have the same issue on my 2013 iMac. Sorry I’m unable to help, have you found a solution???

Hey @Oli, @bobmusic, @Matty_Key

We’ll need more information to investigate this. Follow the steps from this guide: https://help.manycam.com/knowledge-base/macos-crash/

Hello @Mikhail,

thank you very much for your support. Detailed crash report should be in your mailbox.

Hello @Mikhail,

are there any updates? Beta-Version didn’t change since June 23.

Hey @Oli

This will take more time than we originally expected. Unfortunately, I don’t have a time frame for this yet.
