Periodically I want to use ManyCam to capture my screen. The resolution of my screen is 1920 x 1080 and I set up ManyCam to capture in 1080p. The video it produces is jaggy, sometimes pixelated, and overall bad quality… like the screen data is being resampled and then heavily compressed… it should not require resampling at all since the screen resolution is identical to the capture resolution.
Furthermore the video codec uses a variable bit rate which completely throws off the audio track when I go to edit the video stream.
How can I ensure the crispest screen capture quality at a consistent bitrate and keyframing so the audio doesn’t go out of sync as it plays?
