Microphone audio drifts over time

Hi, All.

When I add my USB mic as an audio input and test it by turning on audio monitoring, the delay is minimal (maybe 0.1 - 0.3 seconds at most). When I put my Windows 10 machine to sleep at the end of the day and wake it the next, the audio delay has increased to anywhere from 1-2 seconds. (I think this sometimes happens later in the same day without ever putting my computer to sleep.)

Any explanation why I have to keep deleting and readding my mic each day I return to my computer?

  • I’m running ManyCam 7.10.0.0 on Windows 10 Home
  • CAMERA: Logitech HD Pro Webcam c920 set to 50ms offset
  • MIC: Samson S01U USB mic

I have the same issue, and use the same USB mic on Windows 11.

I regularly shut down Manycam completely, or reboot, in order to reset the lag issue.

I’ve had luck deleting and re-adding my mic (confirmed by turning on audioonitoring before and after). Might save you some time restarting the whole app.
