Latest Manycam on OS X always crashes

I have tried upgrading ManyCam on my macbook pro (running OS X 11.2.3). The only version that works is Manycam 7.3.1. Any newer version will always crash - event with a clean install and reboot of the machine,

That assumes that the software starts. The problem is that the latest ManyCam always crashes upon start so it is never possible to open the preferences menu.

I have done the uninstall, restart and reinstall steps multiple times. The result is the same. Manycam crashes as soon as it is started.
