I’m an IT person and one of my duties is to help ministries setup and run streaming platforms. I prefer manycam to other streaming software packages as I find it easier to use overall. The question I have is will manycam support AV1 at some point. I’m eager to try the ARC A380 as a low cost option for hardware encoding to AV1 as many ministries, specifically the rural locations that I mostly service, have very limited bandwidth. Anything to help create a better quality, more stable, stream is desperately needed.
Any info will be a help.
