IP Camera Connection

Hi,

I have been using Manycam for about a month now and I really like it. I bought the standard plan. Able to run 2 iPhones without problem. I wanted to add an IP camera. I bought an Amcrest 1080P WiFi Security Camera 2MP Indoor Pan/Tilt Wireless IP Camera. I set it up without a whole lot of problem and can control it from my web browser but I can not get manycam to recognise it. I am using the H.264 encoding URL but keep on get message that “IP Camera not responding”.

Ay help would be appreciated it.

Thnak you,

John

Hey @John_Michael

Are you on mac?

Our team will need the ManyCam log files to investigate this. The log files are stored in the Library folder, which is hidden by default. You can enable full path in Finder by checking View -> Show Path Bar. The full path should be something like this:

/Users//Library/Application Support/Visicom Media/ManyCam/Logs

How to retrieve the log files from ManyCam:

  1. Start ManyCam and reproduce the issue,
  2. Close ManyCam: ManyCam menu -> Quit ManyCam .
  3. Navigate to the following location:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Visicom Media/ManyCam/Logs
Collect all the files from this location.

Once all files are retrieved, send them to our Support Team in a zipped archive.

Also, forward them this thread.
In the meantime, also try opening your IP cam in VLC Player and see if it freezes there.

I resolved this problem myself but thank you.
