Audio Issues when Playing Video Through Zoom

Hey all -

I’ve been using ManyCam for a while and love to switch to a video file preset instead of sharing my screen in Zoom. This has worked fine in the past, but lately (and it may be since Zoom redid some of the sound features?), folks report that my “video sound” is “choppy” and “hard to hear,” and I end up sharing my screen anyway.

I’m on the latest Windows 10 w/the latest Zoom/Manycam respectively.

Any assistance would be great. Thanks!

First, please install the latest version of ManyCam: https://manycam.com/download/

Please also try our Audio troubleshooting: https://help.manycam.com/knowledge-base/audio-troubleshooting/

If none of the recommendations helped, please send us the following:

  1. A screenshot of the Audio tab in ManyCam
    (for reference: https://help.manycam.com/knowledge-base/manycam-interface-overview/#audio-tab)
  2. A screenshot of the Audio settings on the website/ in the app you are streaming from
  3. ManyCam’s version (ManyCam Preferences/Settings -> General -> About ManyCam)
  4. Turn on “Audio Monitoring” in the ManyCam’s Audio tab and let us know if you hear the sound from your Mic.
