I purchased a lifetime subscription Thursday, October 21, 2020. I’m having a problem selecting an audio input. Every selection available to me is an “X” in a red circle. I’m not even able to select the internal microphone to the computer. I’m unable to find a tutorial addressing this specific issue. Please advise thank you.

I’m running MacBook Pro with El Capitan 10.11.6
Eight gigs of RAM and an Intel processor
Logitech camera for video
I would like to use my Presonus Firestudio Project “recording interface” as the audio input source.
Again, I’m not able to select any input source everything has the red X after selecting, even the internal computer microphone.
